Beer Pong
Objective:
Shoot, Throw, Bounce ball into opposing cups in order to clear cups first./p>
Things You'll Need:
-8 foot table (regulation size)
-2 Ping Pong Balls
-20 Plastic Red Cups
-2 Cups filled with water
-4 cans of beer*
-4 people
*just a suggestion, but can be played with more or less; can be played with other beverages
Set-Up
1. Arrange 10 cups on each side of the table in the form of a triangle. (4 in the back, 3 before, 2, and then 1)
2. Pour the 2 cans of beer evenly throughout the 10 cups.
3. Place 1 water cup on each side of the table.
Rules
1. Eye-2-Eye
-choose one person from each team to go against each other to see who starts the game.
-2 People chosen but look directly at each other from across the table and "shoot" their ball in the opposing team's cup -whoever makes it goes first.
2. First team "shoots" balls into opposing team cups one at a time.
3. If a shooter lands in a cup:
-1 ball in 1 cup= opposing team drinks contents of the cup
-2 balls in 1 cup "explosion"= opposing team drinks contents of the cup as well as any cup touching the original cup + balls back
-2 balls in 2 different cups=opposing team drinks contents + balls back
-1 ball in on bounce = 2 cups
-if shooter makes 2 in a row-"Heating up"
-if shooter makes 3 in a row-"On Fire" and keeps shooting until a miss
4. Teams alternate turns until game all cups have been made.
5. "Dead Cup" - is when a ball is made into a cup, but the opposing team forgets to drink the contents. GAME OVER is ball is made in a dead cup.
6. "Drinking cup"- if ball is made into a cup, that is being held by the opposing team that still has contents, GAME OVER.
7. 3 re-racks allowed, BUT must be made at the beginning of each turn.
8. If ball rebounds off of cup, and shooting team retrieves ball before it hits the ground, shooter MUST shoot BEHIND the back.
9. Last cup rules:
- if a team makes it, the other team gets one shot each to make a cup; if at least 1 ball is made, the game continues as before.
- if 2 balls are made 3-cup OT with the same rules.
10. "Trolling"-when a person doesn't make a single cup during the game.
Variations:
**Gentleman's Game- No interfering when the ball is in the cup. (no fingering, blowing, etc)
**Last Cup- If 2 balls are made in last cup during rebuttal, team who made the rebuttal WINS.
**House Rules- These are guidelines, owner of house makes FINAL decision.
