Question: What is the Hindu view of consumption of alcoholic beverages?

hindus dont consume alcohol every now and then like white people ..however they are occassional drinkers .. they dont look down upon a person drinking alcohol unless he misbehaves

Hindus love drinkin alcohol..Infact they have many 'local varieties' of beer, wine , vodka and rum (known as tari, malta, khus khus, mahua etc etc) as Indians are in general not in a position to afford 'internationally acclaimed' brands...

But the rich ones buy costly imported/non imported brands too..absolutely no shunning or taboo of Americans drinkin beer or anythin as such... Just try not to drive after u'r drunk...xD
