Question #1:
A good medium between Pinot Grigio and Moscato?
My husband likes the bitter "kick" of pinot grigio, but I don't. I like the sweetness of Moscato and how it goes down smoother. Is there a wine that would be more in the middle to make us both happy? :-) Thanks! (We like white wine better than red).Question #2:
What dose this joke mean? I dont get it?
Last night, my kids and I were sitting in the living room and I said to them, 'I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug.'They got up, unplugged the Computer, and threw out my wine.
They are SO on my shit list ...
Explain???
Question #3:
So... I'm guessing God didn't drink beer?
"Give beer to those who are perishing, wine to those who are in anguish." (Proverbs 31:6)Either way, his followers were alcoholics. Thank God they were riding camels and not driving cars.
Question #4:
Well, just like I thought-boring match & it makes you angry to have wasted your time, Querry lost like a dope?
Querry, our last American male hopeful, couldn't even pull it off. It is like these American male tennish players, just lazy themselves out on the court waiting for their opponents to make the mistakes as if they don't want to work hard to earn a victory! I knew he'd lose though because that's what all our American men do -- give us false hope and lose.Venus Williams is our last hope for the U.S. and she took out Shiavonne today, but she kept working hard and never gave up which is far less than I can say and WE ALL SAW for Querry. He just does not have championship or "WINNER" written across his forehead and makes too many ignorant errors, never recovering while allowing his opponent repeatedly back into the match failing to grasp that hard work will earn you the victory; NOT WILLING UNFORCED ERRORS ONTO YOUR OPPONENT.
Sensible members weigh in about our men failing us yet once again at a high-end major such as the one we should be wining???? THE U.S. OPEN??? Gads, how embarrassing. Venus can grasp the relevance and importance of an American victory, eh? Why can't our males? Gads...
Question #5:
Could I be developing a form of anxiety disorder or am I just paranoid?
About a month ago, I had a panic attack when smoking weed. I don't want to here any comments about avoiding drugs and that kinda bs, please! After this, I will never smoke again. Anyways, since that panic attack, I've had uncontrollable anxiety. I'm terrified of having another full-blown panic attack. I will literally sit in class and my thoughts will contort into crazy stuff like OMG you're gonna panic, then I start to actually feel the effects and attempt to calm down. Another example, I had 2 sips of wine last week and then I began to panic, thinking I would go into hysterics just by having wine. I just want this to go away. What should I do?Question #6:

Edith and Evelyn:
At the age of twenty four, Edith found love, settling down away from her family, at the age of twenty four. She and her husband, Herb, moved into an old cabin in a remote corner of California's wine country, 45 minutes North of San Francisco. She and her husband soon became a happy little family of 3, bringing Evelyn into the world. Their happiness proved to be short-lived, as Herb received a fatal diagnosis, in his early 30’s. Though he fought nobly, the disease won. He passed away during surgery, as Edith and Evelyn waited in the sitting area just down the hall. After only 7 years of marriage, Edith found herself a grieving widow with a small, 6 year old child. The mother and daughter lived privately, and made it through the years without their husband/father, living off Herb’s inherited stock from the wine industry.
Evelyn felt that losing her father due to illness was an unfair disadvantage to her life, and through the years, at a young age, It left an empty, scarred, angry hole in her heart. One that shaped her character from early on.
As Evelyn got older, she spent all of her time alone. She felt no remorse in neglecting her studies or when she stopped playing with the other children in the neighborhood. The only time she would leave her home was when she traveled down to the oceanside by bicycle. She was still a normal girl, just a quiet, introverted one. No one suspected anything, it was just thought to be Evelyn's way of coping. In her early teenage years, her mother discovered she was experimenting in local witchcraft. Soon, her isolation was coupled with pentagrams and spiritual studies.
By the time Edith was 37, she was diagnosed with Heliophobia and Agoraphobia. Because of her phobias, she eventually moved to the upstairs attic, covering every single window with cloth, blocking natural sunlight light from entering her darkened room. Afraid to live life, her disease and obsessive compulsive disorders only complicated matters worse. Some of her symptoms included wanting nothing to do with people, and avoided being outdoors at all measures. She was not even mentally capable of checking mail from her own box at the end of the driveway. The only person who ever came to visit their cabin in the woods was a local doctor, who would check up on them from time to time.
By the time Edith was in her late 80’s, her daughter Evelyn, who was in her 50’s, was beginning to show signs of a deteriorating mind. Neighbors stated that her depression had worsened, and her vision of reality had become faltered. It was said that she would play games with her mother’s mind, locking her in the attic, and tormenting her relentlessly because she believed that demons were living inside of her mothers body. Edith had a hard time accepting her own reality, because she had done everything possible to help raise her daughter the best she could. She believed that her daughter’s problems were from a combination of lifelong witchcraft, along with potential hereditary disorders. Edith was sane, but her phobias made her thoughts irrational at times, which made her daughter think that she was crazy.
Evelyn’s chemical disorders were all far more than the neighboring families wanted to accept. The home was no longer being cosmetically maintained, having problems of leaking roof tops, broken windows, overgrown vines flowing across the entire home and landscaping, that would begin to spread on to the neighboring properties. She suffered daily with panic and anxiety, but was already accustomed to this way of life.

Question #16:
Can I take the Nuk/Pacifier away from my baby?
My baby is 2 months old, and uses a pacifier. She likes the sucking, but she can't stand the feeling on any pacifier of any brand on her face. It bothers her, so she always pushes the damn thing out of her mouth and she flips out. She sometimes, in frustration, will work on finding her fingers to suck on (not hunger, it's different), but then my husband or I give her her God forsaken suckey thing. She will be comfortable and finally falling asleep, and then the damn thing falls out and she wakes up and starts wining. I hate it...she hates it.... So I wonder what other parents think of this situation. I wonder if we just took away the pacifier she would figure out how to get satisfaction out of sucking on her hand or fingers and stop sabotaging herself by whacking the thing out of her mouth?Question #17:
I was comped a glass of wine...I tipped more than I would have for the meal, but maybe it wasn't enough?
The meal was $9.50, the wine would have been $4.75. The food was delish, the service was fine (there's no reason at all to complain, but also nothing great about it)...I tipped right over $3.50. So...did I mess up? It's not a complicated drink, he just had to pour, and once he poured/served, he was done with me...but I've not been comped before.I hope this goes at the bottom...I've had some GREAT and reassuring answers. Thank you all so much :)
I'd rep you, but I'm now allowed, because I'm too antisocial lol.

Question #19:
Why do people say they can't tell if the dog is having a nightmare or a good dream?
I know for one know the difference with my female dog. She wines and whimpers and wiggles her feet meaning it is a good dream. I know when she wishes she was a little bit bolder too lol. She will bark in her dream and that means she wishes she did something different. But a nightmare with my dog is when she does a blood curling howl and doesn't stop till you wake her and she even seems scared after word. Tell me how can you not tell??
My younger dog doesn't have bad dreams he howls himself wake I think it is like someone snoring him self awake.
Love me or hate me: My dog had these blood curling howls when I was looking for an appartment that would take dogs and I was in one that couldn't. I stayed there for 3 months and she had these dreams with my family. She had 2 when I first got her back, but she hasn't had one since.
Also when I had bad dreams she would wake me up by licking my face and laying beside me till I fell to sleep again.
Question #20:
How has the scripture "no one pours new wine into old wineskins" (Luke 5:37) manifested in your life?
I woke up one morning with this scripture in my head and as a "baby" Christian who hadn't even ever heard this scripture I tried to figure out what that meant. At first I thought, Oh it's just that now that I'm reborn that's the new wine and the old wineskin would be the religion I left...I left it at that and went about my merry way...but now over a month later something happened that made me think of that scripture and the message that was trying to get through to me.All last week I had this sudden urge to clean...and I mean clean like Spring cleaning...I cleaned closets, threw out tons of old bills I had been stashing in bags and boxes and just piling here or there. I got rid of clothes, I rearranged furniture, I decluttered everything in sight...I was this driven person that just "had to" get things cleaned out and in order. It was nesting with a Red Bull chaser!!! Only now that everything is done did I hear that scripture in my mind once again and it got me to thinking, "is all this cleaning and organizing etc. what God wanted me to do? Did I have so much "old" that there was just no room for the "new"? I'm curious to see if any changes occur now that this cleaning spree is over. Anyone else experience something that relates to this scripture??
I'm not saying that physically "cleaning" is what this scripture is referring to not that God wanted me to clean my house, what I am saying is that my cleaning spree was a physical manifestation of helping me to understand and apply this scripture to my life.
I've been wanting a lot of changes to happen in my life and with old ways of thinking and living and being, new changes aren't possible....so the cleaning was a physical and tangible way to clear out the old to make way for the new...think of it as a visual aid!!!
